Weddings

A wedding that fits every story. St James' warmly invites you to celebrate one of life's most special moments in our church.

Who Can Get Married Here?

You can marry at St James’ if you:

  • Live in the parish.
  • Worship with us.
  • Have a parent or grandparent who once lived, worshipped, was baptised, confirmed, or married here.

No connection yet? Give the parish office a call for a chat.

Why St James’?

  • Classic central aisle and plenty of space for the whole bridal party.
  • Light, airy nave.
  • On-site parking and good access.
  • Attractive gardens that make great backdrops for photographs.
  • Pipe organ and baby grand piano.
  • A choir as well as musical soloists and small ensembles.
  • Sound system for playing recorded music.

First Steps

  1. Come along to the 10.00 am Sunday Eucharist on a Sunday to see the church in action.
  2. Contact the parish office.
